Automated sperm analysis,
from a simple microscope.
We turn the digitalized microscope you already have into a semen analyzer, without expensive CASA equipment. Right now we're working on sperm concentration and morphology, measured against WHO 6th-edition limits. No manual counting, results in seconds, the same answer every time.
Automated sperm analysis, the way a lab needs it
We're building WHO-aligned sperm analysis for a simple digitalized microscope, no CASA system required. We start with concentration and morphology.
Part-level segmentation
We break every cell down into its parts: acrosome, nucleus, midpiece, tail, vacuoles and cytoplasmic droplet. Each one is measured separately, not estimated.
Scored against WHO 6th edition
Concentration and morphology are measured against WHO 6th-edition reference limits, so you get the results in the form your lab already uses.
Works without CASA
Runs on a simple digitalized microscope, not a dedicated CASA rig. There's no new, expensive equipment to buy.
Reproducible
Our models are versioned and the pipeline is deterministic: the same slide gives the same number today and six months from now.
Seconds, not minutes
One slide image gives you the full read in seconds. No manual counting, and no drift between observers.
Runs in your own lab
On-prem or in a private cloud, and sample data never leaves the lab's network. We built it for clinical environments.
From slide to result in three steps
Take a slide image
Photograph the stained smear on your digitalized microscope. Vivolytix works from the same image you already produce.
We run the analysis
We find every cell, split it into its parts, then score concentration and morphology against WHO 6th-edition criteria.
You get the report
A clean, reproducible result per cell and per sample, ready for your records or your research.
What we're building now, and what comes after
We won't promise more than we have. Concentration and morphology are in active development. The rest of the WHO panel is where we're headed, but we're not working on it yet.
Follow along as we build.
